Hello all fellow Halo players. I’m here to talk about the reason Halo 5 might not be turning out to be that wonderful Next generation game we all thought it would be. Let’s begin with the facts.
When Halo 5 guardians multiplayer beta was announced hardcore halo gamers were upset with 343 for adding smart scope. (a fancy way to say Aiming down sights without saying Aim down Sights.) and the other spartan abilities such as sliding, ground pound and clamber.
but casual gamers could live with the changes. Why did 343 make these changes to a game like Halo. Well at E3 2015 we learned that Call of Duty was moving to Playstation. So Microsoft could no longer use one of the biggest games in the industry as one of its selling cards. So it needed to bring Halo up to pace with recent games coming out that all focus on mobility. But at E3 2014 when Microsoft said that the next halo would be 60fps then we should have known that it would come at the cost of splitscreen. But wait a second Call of duty Ghosts runs at 60fps with split screen multiplayer.
the point I’m making is that these changes aren’t just not what made halo a fun game to play. These changes are making Halo just another First person shooter. And while casual gamers can deal with it. Halo fans can’t.
But we can’t just beg for Microsoft to change Halo 5 then give them thousands of dollars on a game we didn’t even want. See people buy what people want. Call of duty is still making millions because people buy it. I’m not saying don’t buy Halo 5 guardians. I’m saying don’t buy what you didn’t want. Our actions will speak louder than our words.
by the way what happened to the green Unsc army. And the military code words. The military style of halo like the second mission of Halo 3. Lasky doesn’t sound like a unsc captain and nor do the Spartans in Spartan ops.
