So this is my first post so I thought I’d keep it pretty simple and ask you all how you guys are feeling about Halo 5?
Personally I feel that the game is really good and it’s good to see a functioning multiplayer although pretty basic playlists 
The campaign was great despite the fact it was nothing like the marketing campaign in the run up to halo 5! One thing I am really gutted about is the lack of FUN to be had in the game, I mean come on there is no forge mode and no infection. Even in custom games some key features appear to be missing. There is no doubt that Halo is catering to the needs of the eSports community, and to be honest I enjoy that for I am a competitive gamer. But 343 really need to haul -Yoink- in getting forge mode, better playlists (fun playlists) into the game.

I agree. The game was cool. It lacked some of the heart previous Halo games possessed but overall its a great game. The marketing campaign was quite vague. What we saw happens in Halo 6 or Halo 7 as this is being treated as the next Trilogy in the Halo franchise but they could of made it a bit clearer. So I guess we will have to wait and see lol! The forge modes and stuff will be coming soon. Just need to hold out a little longer for 343. They will bring free updates to Halo 5 with all the missing modes and features.
But overall I think 343 have done a really great job.

Yeah I definitely agree! It’s good to see 343 on the right path! One thing I was skeptical about was Warzone due to micro transactions but it proved me wrong for that is un-doubt-ably the coolest addition in my opinion and matches are always well balanced. Maybe in the future 343 could make it possible to forge Warzone Maps that would be amazing!

Yeah I would love some great forge made maps! It does get a little tedious playing on only 3 maps for Warzone so that would be really cool!

I agree with all of these. This is definitely one of the best games in the franchise for me, even though I still feel the nostalgia for H3.
I am a big fan of it so far, and I enjoy that they are going to continue to support it for the foreseeable future.
I’m really enjoying Halo 5. 343 is making a comeback imo, Halo 4 was awful. I was an avid online player for Halo, until that game came out, but Guardians has managed to pull me back in. Their free updates also look very promising, and I can’t wait for forge!
I personally love Halo 5, I think it’s a huge improvement over Halo 4- which largely discouraged me from the Halo series. I do also notice the lack of “fun” in the game, but with the addition of Forge in December I have hope that custom games will offer the same insane amount of fun as they did in Halo 3/Reach.
