They shown Sergeant Major Johnson in a scene where the rest of the ODST’s returned from the horror battle in New Alexandria, they where in some kind of room with the friendly covenant engineer, out of nowhere,Sergeant Major Johnson came into the room and Veronica reported to him that they might have some clues on the covenant from the engineer that they brought in.I mean, how is that possible that he is alive?! didn’t he died on the ring in Halo 3? this has Alot of questions that i’m curious about.
Halo ODST is set between Halo 2 and 3
hope that helps
ODST took place during Halo 2’s battle on New Mombasa
It was New Mombasa not New Alexanderia, and Johnson returned from Delta weeks in advanced before John did. Plenty of time to debrief Buck’s squad who escaped new Mombasa 1 day after the chief left Rarth.
You’re kidding me right? If you you’ve played the campaign and paid attention to the years, ODST was before Halo 3.

I thinks it’s the legendary ending of ODST
the battle was at new mombasa, the ODSTS are dropped when the covernant cruiser goes to slipspace(chief and johnson follows in unsc ship) in the city
then the story of ODST hapends then the story of halo 3
ODST did camo out after halo 3 because of it’s an “expansion package” to halo 3 ( the only 2 halo games using the same engine)
The storry is: (The FPS halo games)
Halo reach
halo combat evolved
halo 2
halo 3 ODST
halo 3
halo 4
halo 5
