I personally really thought that there would have been a trailer at the VGA’s and when that didn’t happen, I thought they would definitely have something by now and the Showcase seems like that is the logical time to release some info.
So how upset would u be if Monday passed and no information was given?
Would u be more let down than the VGA miss?
I’d be done with 343i most likely. We’ve asked, we’ve speculated and we’ve gotten more then enough hints towards a “yes”, so if it turns out to be a “no” I doubt I’d be the only one who get’s extremely pissed off.
i wont be disappointed at all. i’d just say, “oh well”. and carry on with my day. i stopped getting my hopes up after New Year’s.
Yes i agree, because at the end of the day, its been almost nine months now and say what you will about Bungie but by this time into the year there was also a release date for the reach beta, two trailers and a vidoc.

The thing that pisses me off the most is that they seem to always act like they are gonna give information through spark casts etc, and give us the tiniest of details.

The door it right there. Patients is required for everything. If you don’t have any than there really is no point in waiting.
Well, I would seriously be upset because they never even denied the rumors, which would suck, if they want to upset us in the slightest way possible they should shoot down the rumors, like with the VGAs, they did shoot them down so I wasn’t really that angry.
I wasn’t let down at the VGAs.
I wasn’t let down during the Super Bowl.
And i certainly won’t be let down today or in these next few weeks. I’ll leave it up in the air if this apathy towards 343s handling of Halo 4 information or genuine hope in these trying times.
Yah the biggest disappointment was the VGA’s and the lack of info passed january so I don’t really trust them as much anymore

Though it’s true that there have been hints and whatnot, it’s best to be cautious when 343I has neither confirmed or denied anything.
Personally I’d love to see what happens if nothing is released. People just seem greedy for information when the game still has a long ways to go before release. And I find people who raged because there was nothing at the VGAs kinda funny/sad, even when 343I said there wouldn’t be anything.

To be honest, if you are getting angry at a developer for making a game you love, you shouldn’t consider yourself a fan.

Yes, yes patience is a virtue, but this isn’t a matter of patience, this would be a matter of basically being lied to by omission. They can not claim innocence in this case if nothing happens: they KNOW about the rumors, it’d be their fault they let it fester, and by consequence, their fault for letting us get this hyped.
Patience is key, but it’s extremely hard when all 343i does is tease. I’d be perfectly fine if they didn’t do that every other week (you don’t see anyone freaking out about Bungie and how they haven’t said anything, do you?) and not denying this after a month only for it to be void of value would give a lot of people the feeling they’ve been cheated and lied too. And I simply won’t stick around a studio that does that to their fans.

We’ve been saying that ourselves for months now. The best 343 can do is at least give us a better timeframe than before E3.

-Retain my Un-dying faith in 343.
-Continue to admire Frankie’s shiny head.
-Relentlessly chase any leaks or hints so I can sleep at night.
But in reality, a few thousand grunts will lose their lives if nothing shows up and we don’t want that to happen…-_-

I agree.
I would be disappointed but after 20 minutes of hatred, I will like 343 again and will carry on my day.
well as quite a few others will agree, we’ve waited over 5 years for a half life 2 episode 3/half life 3, and we’re still waiting for information on it at all.
we know that halo 4 is out this year, so i guess i would be disappointed at lack of info but then remind myself that it actually is coming out and then look forward to E3 and ther release date.

It’s easier to wait for Valve because we know Valve has delivered prior with other games. 343, not so much.
Honestly, I find the wait for Halo 4 pretty easy. It’s the wait for ME3 that’s killing me!
