This is my strategy, and would work easier with more players participating this simple, organised strategy. The main objective of to capture all the bases and keep it that way throughout the whole round. The main cause for winning Warzone is usually whichever team controls the area with the most advantage. Usually the central base is the most necessary to win fast.
Step 1: Capture the enemy armoury fast!
How? First, Capture the nearest armoury after securing the homebase. After or during the capture of your nearest armoury, a minimum of 4 Spartans are required to “go around” the map and head towards the hostile armouryDont take the shortest route, you are more likely to be killed. The four or more will then capture the enemy armoury, delaying the enemies progress of capturing the Spire. This can be done with less players, but the more the better. I highly recommend camping on the rooftop rather than be on the ground floor.
If the enemy has already captured their fortress, wait for the majority of them to charge towards the spires. It will be easier to capture. They won’t be able to capture the spire until the hunters are down so you have time.
Step 2: Capture the spire, and don’t let the enemy recapture their fortress until the spire is yours.
This heavily depends on your teammates efforts to capture the spire. It is up to those who captured the enemy fortress to defend it until your other team members capture the spire. If the enemy takes the spire and your team can’t capture it within 5 minutes of the enemy taking it, their is a 50% chance you will heavily depend on the AIs to be your only source of hope.
Step 3: Deploy at least one assault warthog during the battle of the spire. If the enemy has a warthog, deploy two.
Warthogs during the battle of the spire is a great way to distract the enemy. Additionally, if you are participating the capture of the spire, I recommend wielding a turret, it’s great for your team areas defence up on top of the spire.
Step 4: Always check on the armouries that are least protected. This is to investigate whether the enemy is plotting to sneak around the map and take a base.
immediately notified your team mates.
Step 5: Beware of massive invasion counter attack.
Capturing the enemy armoury has its downside, since the enemy won’t be spawning there and heading to the spire, the majority of the enemy team members dying in battle will spawn at their homebase, and they will be in large numbers. I recommend that if you have secured and defended the armoury up to this pint, and the spire has been captured, 80% of all your team will be required to head your location. This naturally will push the enemy back towards their home base.
Step 6: If the enemy captures an undefended base, recapture it as fast as possible!
If the enemy manages to keep the base they captured, the will gain a significant advantage and attempt to recontrol the area aggressively. Do not allow them to capture a base!
Step 7: Deploy at least 2 ghosts to attack the enemy core. Extremely necessary to battle rifle the hostile marines before entering the enemy base.
As you’ve read it’s quite simple. But it demands you act immediately after the match begins, or else both red and blue team will face each other with an extremely competitive battle, or one team will have a significant advantage. That team should be your team, and the only way to do it fast and effectively is to follow these instructions. It will allow you to defeat the Prometheans and Covenent effectively, as well as dominate the map.
If you are stuck in the opposite scenario, your job is to recapture a base and defend it for as long as possible, until your reinforcements are spawning like in step 4,5,6. Hide if necessary to avoid occasional hostile patrols on the main routes.
If you’re on the losing team another good way to regain the advantage is if your homebase is under attack, immediately spawn 2 warthogs and get out of there ASAP. Once you capture a base, wait for reinforcements. Your teams objective then is to immediately launch a full force attack on the spire and capture it, while defending your recently captured base.
