Camp at spawn - Never attempt to leave your spawn, leaving spawn will result in you being killed and re-spawning at spawn. Save yourself the time and stay at spawn.
Use a DMR/LR - That way you can kill people at long ranges from spawn, no need to be anywhere near them because you have the superior weapon at long range.
When you get ordnance, camp with it. Don’t try to find kills, let the kills come to you. That way you can retain your camping spot at spawn whilst raking in the kills with the DMR/LR and your Ordnance.
If you get the chance to push with your team… don’t. Let the enemy team recover and dominate you at spawn, that way you can continue to pick off enemy players.
This happens almost every game. Yes, I’m mad. This game is an absolute mess.

You forgot, use active camo while camping, get a shotgun via ordinance drop. And stay by the elevator. (And crouch, obvious.)
If you think camping will save you from me putting a bullet to your head and your -Yoink- from hitting the ground your sadly mistaken. Try running with friends. Whenever im running with my team nothing stops us.

This isn’t the point of my thread. The point is, people think camping can get them a win… It can’t. The only map I know you can win by camping is Ragnarok, and that is only if you have had a good set of ordnance drops.
I’m just mad.

Serious question: What about those of us who use active camo, but don’t camp? I run around the map and only camo when I see a blip on the motion detector. I rely on the camo to get the first shot off with a BR and give me the ability to beat out a DMR user (at least until I get my BR Mastery commendation completed).

I’m not that good. Probably just a little above average.
But how about this,
You stick to those tactics and play me 1v1. We can stream it for everyone here.
And we can see how that works out.
Or you can stop being butthurt when you die. Just practice after taking a break.
Yeah, it’s been a Light Rifle circle jerk for me for a week now. Everyone has switched to the light rifle as soon as they unlock it for BTB. It has the best profile of any of the precision weapons (having the slowdown effect of the BR when scoped out, and the stopping power of the DMR when scoped in).

What? WHat? WHAt? WHAT? HAHAHAHAH! No. This isn’t anything to do with being butthurt, I’m mad for many reasons. This being one of them.
My main gripe is how much of a camp-fest this game is, the Slayer games are full of campers. The Objective games are full of kill farmers. You can’t escape the unrelenting reality that this game in its current state is full of camping.
LET’S STREAM A BORING 1V1… THAT’D BE COOL.
I’m so angry with this game today. Today has been the worst day.

Glad to hear an active camo user tries to have dignity. What you describe is real gameplay. I can fight that. But 343 needs to put camo scramble back into the radar for the shotgun campers. Is there any way to know someone is using camo nearby?
