1.) try to snipe from higher ground not lower, youll miss more shots then you already do.
2.) dont waste shots on vehicles that arent attacking you
3.) Obvious but widely ignored: be patient and aim for head, not impulse and shoot at body.
So your upset that people not good at the Sniper are using it? If I miss the head, I go for the body and then finish it with a headshot. Not everyones skilled with the Sniper you know, but doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to use it. I suck with it and I can still get a Spree going.
im not saying they don’t deserve to use it. I’m saying don’t camp it. If you are gonna camp it’s spawn, you better be good with it. Not everyone is skilled with a sniper is a given. But if its sitting around on the map and you know you suck with it why would you bother picking it up. Im just saying if someone is walking across a wide area theres no rush, take your time and line up a headshot…
and i laugh how people snipe from low ground at ragnarok, theres a cliff at the “mountain” spawn (on the left if facing enemy spawn) and a rock ledge on the “ocean” spawn (its on the left and forward a little if facing enemy spawn) and both of those are great for sniping from highish ground…

Body shots takes away shields, making the enemy an easier target for the team.

If you take body shots, you are making easier for your team something they should be able to handle themselves. therefore you are wasting a potential higher amount of kills to help win.

Oh…ok, I didn’t realize you were talking about the spawn. Don’t mind me I just got off work not too long ago. But yes I agree with that.

again, your wasting possible kills on something that your teammates should be able to handle themselves. especially since precision weapons wreck vehicles in this game.

its not that they die, its that they utilize all its ammo and only get 2 kills.
I am fairly good at the sniper rifle and I will assist teammates with destroying vehicles. That Mantis isn’t going to destroy itself when it’s camping in the corner of the map.

No, if you have 7 teammates thats plenty of firepower to take it down. Especially since it has soo much health that a sniper doesnt really help all that much.
(And the mech needs some sort of nerf)

Guys, what he’s saying is that if you don’t know how to use the sniper, stop rushing it because you think it’ll get you easy kills.
Skill gets the kill, so if you ain’t got it, hand the sniper over to one more compotent.
