How to use leader powers?

Hi, I’m stumped for how to activate and use the leader powers now the controls have been changed, is it the same method as before but with different buttons or am I missing something?

You press the back button in game to use commander points to purchase leader powers (more choice than before).

Then hold left trigger in game when you want to use one, e.g. Mac Cannon.

Ahh, kind of makes sense now, probably just something to try out in practice. Thanks!
