How to Talk to Other Players?

So me and my friend are having issues talking to each other in the game. When we connect to Party Chat we can hear each other just fine but when it comes to talking in the game we cannot hear each other. This I find odd as when we don’t have my microphone plugged in we can clearly hear other players through our TV speakers,

When are you experiencing issues with game chat? Halo 5 does not support game chat in lobbies, so if you’re trying to chat before a game starts, you won’t be able to. If you are having problems hearing each other through game chat during an actual game, then that could be an actual problem. I would suggest using Custom Games with your friend to troubleshoot and play around with your game chat settings.
