I’ve seen people have them they just stand still in one place but you can kill them I want to spawn them so I can work on moving from target to target (headshot to headshot)

They have probably modded the game in some way to get that. We don’t allow discussion of modded content on Waypoint though
edit: wow typos

Okay
You can by modding. Or going into the browser and look for modded maps.

They probably used the Trustysn00ze gametype which added a lot of unused assets into custom games. I thought 343 came out and said that his custom games gamemodes for Reach and 4 were ok as they’ve supported a modded gametype like his in Halo 4 and even put it in action sack. I think it was “Tiny Spartan Slayer” or something like that.

lol, I remember playing that slayer. Hilarious and stupid XD
Technically, Halo 4 is the only Halo game where you can spawn AI in forge in form of these automatic turrets. However, if you modify your game, you can surpass the limits Bungie has set with forge but that is not recommended.
Yes there is a way. I have a map and game type up in my file share. You will need both and load them in custom games. If its not in my current account (migic matt) it will definitely be in my old one (mj6565) the game type is called “ultimate migic matt forge” bc you can make your own modded maps with it without a jtag or rgh to do so and your friends can play too as long as they have the game type. Then the map is called “####MIGIC MAP####” PS its heavily modded not just Bipeds (ai’s) but with vehicles inc a tankhog but watchout with that one. Hope this helps!!

the ai that stand still are usually the effect of the overload glitch

But that’s in Halo 5. In Halo Reach, there’s maps where, when used with the correct gamemode, spawn “AI-less” AI. AND what I mean by that is that they don’t do anything at all. You can still assassinate them and grab their weapons. It doesn’t require any glitch. Just map and gamemode.

is possible on most forges

That’s not AI that you’re spawning then. AI implies they move and have intelligence, map meshes to navigate the map and reactions to events like you see in Campaign.
What you are describing is spawning a biped (player model). It is nothing more than a player model.

Well, that’s why I said “AI-less” AI, but I had no idea it was named biped. Apologies and thanks.
Still, it’s the closest we can get to AI.

Yeah it can be fun to mess around with.
I’d love for 343 to implement the ability to have AI on Forge maps but I can see how it would be difficult. Players would likely have to script their entire movements and given the nature of custom maps, it would be difficult to give them navigation meshes like say, a static map in CSGO that allows them to dynamically move around. If they can find a way to allow Forgers to script a path for the AI, imagine the possibilities for Machinima or just creating your own custom game modes built around the feature.
It would be nice but I can understand that it’d be difficult to implement.

The amount of machinimas and creative custom games would be doubled. It’s all I have to say.

There is not in Reach, it would be way cool though.
