How to set the language of the game itself?

So I bought the game in the Netherlands, which means everything apart from the spoken parts of the game is in Dutch. I’d like to set it back to english, because the whole dutch thing is just plain stupid. (343 PLEASE JUST KEEP HALO 5+6 IN ENGLISH, THANK YOU) So how can i set it to english?

Similar issue.

While my game is in English (following the settings of my console), the Italian voiceover (/w English subs) is pretty bad. So-so acting and very bad synching.

I’d like to have the option (even through a downloadable pack, as other games has done in the past) to have my whole game in English: menus AND voiceovers.

I’ve had the same issue (Dutch translations are generally limited) and found a fairly easy solution. Go to Settings (not in game but general Xbox settings) -> System Settings -> Console Settings -> Language and Locale -> Region and change your region to the United Kingdom.

Dashboard -> Settings -> System Settings -> Console Settings -> Language and Locale -> English, USA/UK

Btw, I’m in the Netherlands as well and everything in the game is in English.

I bought my copy of halo 4 in Germany and after resetting my language and locale on my console the campaign is still all in German with English subtitles. The voice overs are terrible and are definitely taking away from the experience. There must be some additional way to fix this. I guess I’m stuck with multiplayer until a solution is found, but that really sucks.

was I the only one who, after seeing how incredibly horrible Halo 3 dubs were (I assure you the french dub was the worse of all. want a proof? they even forgot to dub some dialogs in the mission Cortana! some key dialogs are left in english (or not even present, the dubbing company probably went like “lol lets troll them”)) so I decided to buy it on amazon.uk.

protip for everyone who wants the english version : buy it on amazon.co.uk (as it’s fast and usually cheaper than in retail stores, at least, cheaper than in france).
there is no other ways to have the english audio.

if you wonder why there isn’t both audio tracks :
MS/343i can’t put both audio on the disks, as it would make too many files and the disks don’t have enough space.
we aren’t using BDRs yet, guys.
