How to see current exp?

Hi everyone, my apologies in advance if this seems like a nooby question (I haven’t played Xbox/halo in awhile).

What button do I press in order to see my current exp and the exp required in order to level up? Usually I would be able to see the exp needed to level up and the exp I currently have but for some reason I can’t find it. I see a blue line under my GT and my emblem which I assume represents that but is there anyway to see my current exp number in comparison to what is needed to level up?

In game or waypoint h5 service record.

After a game, go to the carnage report, click on your name, then tap the right bumper. It’ll bring up your XP and REQ earnings for that game.
