However, due to the active members of this forum (a large amount of them) expressing their anger at massive changes to Halo, I’ve been interested as to why we don’t try to mellow out. I’ve created this poll with an attempt to truly see what many people think. It seems that many people are mad at everything, and there are a lot of forum members who still enjoy the game with no issues. I’m curious to see if those who still love the game would like something changed.
I personally have a dream for BR starts again. If not indefinite maybe just a Slayer variant. My needs will probably not be met, but I know people have other important things to talk about.
Let’s have a discussion based on resolution, hopefully with little rage.
EDIT
I’ve recognized a little too late that I forgot to include Changes to the Ranking System…next time, friends
For me it’s the aim acceleration.
If I’m not enjoying the basic mechanic of the game then it doesn’t matter what happens to the rest of it as I won’t be experiencing it anyway.

Aim acceleration is not a problem for me, heard it could be a problem with certain controllers…
Myself I use the new Elite controller after adjust my setting inversion and sensitivity in game. I also used the Xbox accessorizes app to fine tune my trigger, thumb stick and remap the buttons to triggers below. Took a few game to get used to but not having any problems with aiming.

Let me ask you this, DABEARS, is everything else fine?
Just curious if you’re completely satisfied with what we’ve got right now

I’ve had zero problems with the aiming. I’m quite fond of it. I especially like the lowered aim assist.
Maybe it’s just something you have to get used to.

Glad you like it.
I don’t. I don’t like sudden jumps in velocity when I’m trying to aim at other players.
It’s also obviously not fine when they are resolving/patching in a resolution to the issue.
As soon as the patch is released I’ll probably hop back on from time to time.
If I could change one thing, Halo 5 would have gotten a complete and un-tainted launch. The current lack of social playlists, lack of maps, lack of gametypes, lack of custom game options, Forge being MIA, lack of a fully operational Theater mode, and lack of file sharing would have not been a problem to begin with.
Then we could get “free updates” to address real issues with the game: butchered Spartan customization options (no Elites), butchered emblem customization options, the horrible UI, lack of in-game challenges to unlock Spartan armor, the aim acceleration, -Blam!-ed up respawns, horrible map rotation, 18m motion sensor radius, lack of a human air vehicle, the annoying as -Blam!- microtransaction RNG packs (REQS), split-screen being MIA, etc.

I do like the lowered aim assist.
I’d be fine if it was outright removed tbh
I picked Social Playlists but I would have put Aiming dow too if there was an option. I’m so glad both these are being fixed!! I’m worried once they are fixed 343’ll have the perfect game though and I’ll have to drop out of uni to make more Halo time!

This right here is probably one of the most frustrating issues with the aiming and to why I will be waiting until its fixed properly before I come back. Until then, its Reach time.

I agree with you on all of these fronts. Count up the amount of times you typed “lack of” and that should be a pretty clear indication of slight problems.
