How to replicate Recruit Spartan-IV look?

All SPARTAN-IV’s seen in-game besides Master Chief and our own customized SPARTAN-IV’s are seen wearing Recruit armor during campaign and Spartan Ops.

Does anyone know how to replicate the SPARTAN-IV look? Or if it’s even possible?

I’m not sure if they are wearing the Recruit PRME skin, but to me, they look like they are wearing all Recruit pieces. Their visor is blue but I can’t tell if it’s the “Pioneer” or “Recruit” visor. The primary colour of their armor looks like steel or silver, while the secondary appears to be a “golden-yellow”. The Recruits also have a white star as an emblem on their shoulder, but I’m not sure if it is unlockable.

Any help?

Interesting question, I myself woudln’t mind have a “realistic” spartan iv.

i do not see how every fireteam apart from majestic and palmer wear unique armour

It seems to me that, like Noble Team in Reach, it’s impossible to fully replicate the Spartan-IVs from the campaign. The visor seems to be a mix of the Recruit and Pioneer shades of blue. The right shoulder isn’t Recruit either, it’s a variant that’s completely unavaialable to us. Though the left shoulder is the regular Recruit shoulder piece. The forearms seem to be slightly different from the regular Recruit arms too, perhaps an older version that was never updated? The rest of the armour seems to be normal Recruit armour though, not the Prime skin.

As for the colours, the primary colour does appear to be steel, but perhaps slightly darker than what is available to us. Same goes for the yellow colour, it’s darker than the Gold colour we can pick. Not to mention that we, the player, get the coloured undersuits as well, while the regular Spartan-IVs get the nice all-black ones.

So, in short, you can get close to recreating campaign Spartan-IVs, but there will still be several big differences.

We’ve never actually seen another Fireteam apart from Majestic, and I want to see more. Since War Games is considered canon, I want my SPARTAN-IV to be as realistic as possible. I hope to see more SPARTAN-IV’s wearing unique armor in the future, maybe a Spartan Ops Season 2? It would be a perfect time to introduce them.

I’ve always pictured almost all experienced Fireteams like Castle, Shadow, Crimson, and Wolf wearing unique sets of armor in the Halo universe.

That sucks. I wish there was a special gametype in Matchmaking that would overwrite our colours and armor, making all players in the lobby wear the campaign-Recruit and Master Chief armor.

The forearms are the piece that is used for nearly all the SPARTAN-IV variant pics. They look super cool, but for some reason, the pieces are not available for use.

ALL HALO 4 ARMOR:

you see i one
-one of the Valhalla (first i think)
-you have one back you up on Vortex (ep9 i think)

  • one back you up at the start of one (maybe ep7)
  • you then rescue another spartan fireteam on the same map

Making your own Spartan IV Recruit:

  • Recruit helmet
  • Recruit chest
  • Recruit shoulders
  • Recruit fore-arms
  • Recruit legs
  • Recruit visor
  • Steel primary color, golden secondary
  • 5 star emblem with white coloring OR Recruit emblem yellow/golden coloring

note: Spartan IV’s UNSC emblems and marks are not access able but we got our owns integrated with the armor. None of the armor pieces have skins like Prime or Tiger.

Their preferred load-out from the campaign is:
-Battle Rifle
-Magnum
-2 Frags
-Jet Pack
-AA Efficiency
-Ammo

(AA Efficiency because they have unlimited ability, Ammo because they have unlimited ammo. :stuck_out_tongue: )

I echo what you say man, it seems a shame we only get to see what majestic look like.

@ChaoticxSnipezz

I was trying to say we’ve never seen a SPARTAN-IV Fireteam wear unique armor aside from Majestic. We’ve never seen Majestic in-game either, only the Spartan Ops cinematics.

Thanks!

Just wondering though, I don’t remember them using a BR or Jetpack. What levels did the SPARTAN-IV’s use them in?

sorry i have worded my original sentence wrong then, i meant to mean that Palmer and Majestic are the only spartans with unique armour, where as everyother spartan fireteam and spartan IV all wear the same

That’s what I was also trying to say…

I know we’ve seen other Fireteams in Spartan Ops like Mountain and Switchback (I think that’s what they were called) but they all wore Recruit.

he is right, majority of Spartan IV’s use jetpacks and battle rifles
i am curious to see how a custom made spartan would look ingame with that setup and loadout, purely as i dont wanna edit mine

yeah sorry my bad, i mucked up the first sentence you quoted me on i think, in that case we agree

This has bothered me for a while. The dead spartans on Lone Wolf in Reach all had different armor, but the living ones in 4 don’t.

Also, why wouldn’t the other Spartan IV’s have unique armor pertaining to their squads? Majestic does, Crimson probably should canonically, and the others have no reason not to.

my issue is that 343i have designed the armour in full sets, example also being Specializations, their AI spartans ingame throughout halo 4 should have set armour sets like those, even if it was random they would feel alot more unique

Well, it’s not THAT big of a deal.

Maybe because the Fireteams we see in-game like Switchback or Mountain aren’t part of the “Elite big-boys” like Crimson, Majestic, Castle, and Shadow.

They probably don’t have much experience as a SPARTAN-IV yet, so are wearing Recruit for that time. All SPARTAN-IV’s start off with the Recruit armor set.

In real life, it’s probably because it doesn’t matter too much and 343 saw no need to set different armors for the SPARTANS. It would just be unnecessary work, much easier to just set everybody to Recruit.

Majestic and Crimson got their own unique squad armor before they had even done anything to earn it. I don’t see why the others wouldn’t unless there are some budget cuts going on. Also, we never see Castle or Shadow so we don’t know if they had unique armor.

It really wouldn’t have been hard for 343 to do, just slap some different armor on SIV’s throughout Campaign and SpOps. Still would’ve been neat to play through campaign go to SpOps and see the same SIV squad that was with the Chief.
