Hey all just wanted to give you a tip on redeeming your code. You should get it through the email you list on your Xbox Live account (Go to xbox.com, login and go into account settings than it should be under “preferances” and it’ll show your email OR it’s your MS ID, the one you sign in to post here), go through the steps it tells you to redeem your code. After you have succesfully redeemed it than power up your xbox, hit the green X to bring up the tabs, tab over to the left and select “Active Downloads”, the code you unlocked “Specialization Priority Alpha” should be there, select it and DL it to unlock it! I had no clue why my code never worked in H4 until I went to DL a patch for BF3 and noticed that specialization code, it works! so here’s the easy step:
1.Check email and follow all steps to activate/redeem your code once you are emailed it (Should read “Here’s a gift from XBL!” and have a picture of Master Chief"
2. Turn on your Xbox and go to the “Active Download” section
3. Select “Specialization Priority Alpha”
4. DL
5. Play!
This is only if you got the code! I can’t help you on getting it
Some of us who didn’t receive it via email, are now beginning to receive it over Xbox LIVE. You cannot read that message on Xbox.com unfortunately, and must read it on the console proper.
To check:
press the guide button
look at your messages. Mine, mysteriously, instead of saying “1” still said “0” so look anyway, even if you appear to have no messages.
the message heading will read simply, “Xbox LIVE”
Inside this message will be an apology for the delay, and the code. DO NOT PRESS A. This will delete the message.
Write the code down. There is no way to automatically redeem it from within the message.
To redeem the code once you have it:
Press the guide button again
In the blades, find the blade that has “redeem code” on it.
Select that option
Input the code
Press start.
Download the Specializations DLC
To confirm that it worked:
Log into Halo 4
press Start to enter the Spartan hub, and scroll up and/or down to find the commendations, specializations, etc. Select specializations.
You should now have all of the specializations listed. They will be locked if you have not yet reached SR 50.
To those who haven’t received it yet, I’m sorry. But it appears to be working finally, at least. Give it some time, and keep calling/emailing/chatting with Xbox LIVE support if you still don’t receive one. Also check the stickied topics for updates on the situation.
I tried to enter the code Microsoft sent. However the only ‘Redeem Code’ area in my account settings requires 25 digits, like a Live card. Am I looking in the wrong place? Someone point me in the right direction. Maybe more detailed?

To clarify, the code given to me is a 7 digit code.
I put my code in and downloaded it. But when I check in game only wetwork and operator show both locked ( only SR27) should I be able to see the others?
I entered my codes and downloaded it, but the other specilizations didn’t show up (all I see is wetwork and operator). I am an SR52 using wetwork specilization.

Once you finish that spec. the others will be visible. Should be anyway!

This happened to my brother He is very upset and does not know why his specs are not popping up even though he entered his code and downloaded the pack.
An official response or a working solution to this problem would be greatly appreciated…
Other info: Tried to re download through download history, redownloaded, but still no extra spec codes.
