There is no theater mode for campaign or Spartan ops, only war games.
You can make video clips of your war games play.
You’ll need to go to your file share, and then to your videos in your temp files. You’ll have to save the video you want to make a clip of to your local drive.
Then go to theater, select the video, and then you can make a clip.
Once you have the clip made you can go back to your file browser, go to your local video files, find the clip you made, and choose to upload it to your file share.
Be aware of a few limitations.
There has never been a web based file share for Halo 4. We have been told we should get it in January. Don’t hold your breath. I’ll believe it when I see it.
The console based file share is exceedingly limited. No one will ever see that clip you upload to your file share unless you tell someone about it and give them your gamer tag. They will then have to search for the video by your gamer tag to find it. In other words, no one will ever see it randomly. They will have to know about it and be seeking it out.
If you want to capture that clip you’ll have to have a capture device like a Hauppauge HD PVR / HD PVR 2 or El Gato to capture it to your computer.
There has been no discussion what so ever that we will ever have an online video rendering service like Bungie Pro to render videos on line for Halo 4. Even though Bungie provided it for us as far back as Halo 3, it appears 343 isn’t going to provide Halo fans that convenience and instead is going to force everyone to purchase video capturing hardware to help them publicize their game.

With a capture card, I’m considering opening a video clip rendering service, however for large jobs I would need to charge a fee. I can’t do it entirely for free, unless it’s something like a 15 second clip. I can take that from a fileshare and have it uploaded to youtube in less than 2 minutes.
But I’m concerned there’s probably a rule against posting stuff like these services. So I won’t

And if you don’t do it for free…Quite simply, saddening. This is a video game community. Things should be done because they are fun, not because they earn you dem cash.
I’ll do it for free. If I get off my lazy procrastinating butt.
