Ive had halo reach for about a year now, and I’ve played it almost everyday. I wanna know how I can rank up quickly, because I am only a Captain Grade 2, almost at the next rank. (When you unlock EVA)
Grifball and Firefight have the best credit reward vs time spent playing in MM. As you have playing very little campaign game time you could pick up a whole heap of credits from commendations doing the target Locator glitch on the ONI level in the campaign. Look it up on youtube. plenty of videos showing how its done.

As stated above, Grifball, Firefight and Campaign provide a big quantity of credits, however, without a team, Grifball can be tedious considering there are large amounts of teams.
I’d recommend you try out four-player Firefight, Big Team Battle or Grifball, depending which one suits you the best.
Also, remember to finish your daily and weekly challenges.

Firefight Arcade can do wonders, as can finishing all/most of the Daily and Weekly Challenges. Personally, I also find Living Dead helps because although you don’t get as many kills as you might in other gametypes, every kill will contribute to the same commendation (Close Quarters) unless you use the Magnum. I’m not sure if levelling up a commendation actually increases the amount of Credits it awards though.
