I have been rank Gold 1 for quite some time, and the last few Slayer matches have ended with 1.1 kill streaks for me, do I need a higher killstreak, or does it just take awhile to rank up?
After you’re placed it’s 100% based on win/loss, with how much CSR you gain or lose being based on the opponents ranks. K/D has nothing to do with it.
Play with a team, communicate, and beat kids who are better than you.

Yeah, KD has nothing to do with ranking up. It’s all based about wins.

It’s pure grinding these days but best deal is pick a favorite playlist and keep playing for your level or rank. If playing it’s all about if you win you go up if you lose you may go down depending who you lost to.
The placement system is too useless and it takes years to rank up afterwards because the system places you poorly 99 per cent of the time. It isnt worth the effort. I would wait til next season-it may place you properly once in a million attempts
Consecutive wins with a good fireteam help a lot.
Just play the game and shoot things.
