You can’t wipe them all out. They keep coming. I killed about 80 before I got bored the other night.
That’s not a proper firefight. It even makes Spartan Ops look good.

-lack of usable vehicles/vehicle turrets
-lack of movable scenery
On Legendary, it’s nearly impossible. Unless you do the coward method. In Crow’s Nest, you would go under the stairs and take Johnson with you so you wouldn’t get fragged. In Shutdown, you stockpile a bunch of DMRs and move a conveniently placed Spartan IV.
But once you’ve started to clear out the hangar, the Railgun spam begins. The Spartan IVs seem to spawn indefinitely. And it’s not hard to kill them, it’s just hard to fight back due to them having power weapons (Railguns and SAWs). Not even your Spartan meatshield will save you from the Railgun wielders as seen at the end of the video.
