How to Pilot a Seraph on LNoS (Updated Tutorial)

I’ve put together a new, updated tutorial for Piloting a Seraph on Long Night of Solace, that’s hopefully been simplified and streamlined enough to allow a greater audience to be able to do this trick for themselves.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OooDEe4CpxI

I’ve covered some common questions in the description of the video, but if you have any other questions or comments, let me know.

Thanks!

EDIT: I added the in-game film to my fileshare, for a more in-depth tutorial: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=14845860&player=Anakade

This might be stupid but have you any idea that why there does read at one point press X to flip Banshee? I’v never tried this… & are you sure that this is not mod? Becouse in Beta mods when you were flying “longsword” it was just Banshee with cover up of longsword, also there did read press X to enter in Banshee. Like i said before i haven’t tried this before, so forgive me my questions.

Thanks for the updated tutorial! I’m gonna have to try this sometime. xD

The Seraph, at this final point of the game, wasn’t meant to ever be operated as a ‘Seraph’. I can’t make an official judgement on it, but with my experience with tricking and glitching, one of my assumptions is that it is set up as a ‘Banshee’ purely for the scripted fly-by properties of the level. Perhaps the Seraph was originally intended to be operated, but later scrapped, therefore it would be easier to take on a seat trigger for a Banshee than to leave a complete ‘Seraph’ entity. Can’t say for sure though, and I’d like to know as well.

Considering I created the video, I can verify completely and truthfully that this is not a mod of any sort.

If you have any significant doubts of it’s validity, or for some reason have doubts of my intentions, I will gladly put up the video file from which I filmed the tutorial on to my fileshare for you to see.

No problem. Just as an FYI: I (Anakade), nor my group (DWT Productions), have ever, or will ever use any sort of modification in anything that we ever produce. We’re, I guess, a sort of ‘purist’; we enjoy performing tricks and glitches within the games without using any kind of modifications, or tools of any sort.

Also, speaking of the Beta: we have a video that we did during it, if you’d like to see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPH7pnuKwfE

(Again, no mods or anything)

No problem.

One of the few things left for me to do. Forgot to document me giving a Trooper my Target Locator the other day. Had to run, forgot to save the file, cache reset, etc. Useless on Legendary as the thing goes permanently offline once the 2 hits are used.

Good job, if I didn’t say so already.

Thanks!

Sorry for the double post; just wanted to let people know that I did a quick in-game Tutorial of how to fly the Seraph, in case anyone wanted to see it in a more thorough manner:
