How to mute my microphone on PC?

Does anyone know how to silence my microphone and that of others?
I already tried Wins + alt + m, and it does not work ;-;

Same problem man! I’ve also tried starting a party by myself using the Xbox app, but it still plays my mic in game.

I feel like this is something that should have been sorted out before the beta…

It will get fixed, don’t worry about it.

Only way to cut mine was to go to

  1. the sound and audio control typically bottom right
  2. Right click
  3. Chose recording devices
  4. What’s showing green bars meaning active (make noises to see what responses to confirm)
  5. Right click
  6. Disable

I streamed almost all of my warzone matchs to my laptop so this was a frequent thing I did.

Win10, type Microphone and it will bring up apps that use your Mic, click off Halo Wars 2 …

One thing I did for myself is to plug in a 2nd audio device into my computer and set that as my default.
I can then use my USB mic for streaming and/or talk with friends in Discord while playing without talking in game.
So far seems to have worked in HW:DE and the beta :confused:

I’m not sure about you but most of my PC mics have a extra little bit on the cord that controls volume and if it’s on or not does yours have that?
