How to Mitigate Spawn Killing

I was playing a bit of warzone earlier, and it struck me as to how unbalanced the spawning system is (which I’m sure many are already aware of). During my first game, I was consistently spawn killed coming right out of our one base, by banshees, tanks, snipers, you name it. It was terrible, and I had zero chance to react. Even when I spawned in an ultra ghost, I was instantly spartan lasered!
Now, before you say that I’m just bad, consider this: our team barely clutched the next game, and I had a nearly 3.0 k/d.

All of that got me thinking. Isn’t there a better way to deal with spawns in warzone? Getting spawn camped on Noctus by nornfang definitely seems unfair. And that’s when I realized how easy of a fix there could be for this dilemma. Allow player spawns outside of the bases!

I don’t care where the spawn occurs. It could be a few meters away from the perimeter or halfway across the map. The point is that having a single spawn in warzone creates a spawn killing nightmare. There’s nothing anyone can do once it starts, and no one has fun except for the people in the banshee ultras.

Please, please consider introducing a randomized spawn outside of captured bases! Sort of like how invasion in Reach allowed players to select a few different spawn locations. It would allow me to actually enjoy every other game of warzone these days.

This doesn’t happen to me often, but it seems as if the enemy had the garage under surveillance at all times. I’d change it to something that halo wars 2 is doing in Blitz. When you spawn something in at home base, it spawns inside a giant bubble shield that cannot be penetrated. This would let you have time to strategize without being instantly attacked.

Looks like you got farmed. As a SR 149 I recommend spawning with an active camouflage boost, sneaking out, finding a good place to hide, and waiting till the match is over. There’s not much you can do in a situation like that. You think pushing the spawns outside will help, it’ll only make the nornfangs back up
a little more.

I feel like you should be able to choose your respawn location, kinda like you could in Invasion on Halo: Reach.
