How to make the ranking system more enjoyable

Basically i had just had a match where I had a 60% win chance. I had one of my best performances. I lost the match because the matchmaking did something seriously wrong and I ranked down quite a bit. It might have allso been from the match before where the other team had a 78% win chance. why is it putting me in games like this?

Anyway, I think the ranking system needs to be simplified a bit since the current system is never going to adjust your rank properly so why try. it just confuses and frustrates players. If you lose you should rank down the same set ammount every time and if you win you should rank up the same set amount everytime. i dont like how this ranking system tries to calcullate performances and micro manage ranks.

With my simplified idea, If people hit the lottery and the matchmaking is giving them lots of winnable matches increasing their rank or vice versa then so be it. Its a lot better than the current system that imo is too annoying

What you are describing is essentially a win/loss ratio.

So… not a ranking system.

I agree that 343 need to explain the system better. Smooth out the CSR experience. Provide a break down of changes.

not a ratio, just simple wins and losses that make your rank go up and down. I’m fine with the the initial 10 placement matches doing its complex ranking system but after those 10 matches are completed, keep it simple with wins and losses that always increase and decrease the same.
