To begin this is how I would improve the REQ system if this comes back in the next Halo game, I also looked into what the community have said about the REQ System. Be aware that I tried to make this profitable for Microsoft without making the players feel obligated to spend money. 343 if you are reading these please let us know that :). So, let’s begin.
The game will be using a currency very similar to Reach’s, this means you earn RP(REQ Points duh!) by killing enemies, earning medals, getting achievements, and finishing games. As you play you will be able to see how much you are getting. This is to make sure you get what you made and not what the game thinks you deserve.
To encourage players to play a variety of game modes, challenges will come back, and will work as they did in Halo Reach, that means three daily, one weekly and one monthly. RP boosting will come back as well.
So, this is the part where we talk about microtransactions. In order to make this profitable for Microsoft and to allow free DLC the currency can be bought, just like in other games such as GTA V. Before a lot of people get upset of these let me explain how this will make Microtransaction optional and not game breaking.
Customization
Customization will be like it was in Halo Reach and a little of Halo 5’s, that means:
⦁ Helmet - ⦁ Left Shoulder - ⦁ Right Shoulder - ⦁ Chest - ⦁ Legs - ⦁ Stance - ⦁ AssassinationEvery armor is buyable with RP, the value of each armor will depend on its rarity. To buy high valuable armor must be unlocked by leveling up, making commendations, unlocking achievements, or by participating in special activities to make each armor feel special. For armor varieties, there will bee aesthetic attachments and not different armor paint.
Warzone Loadouts
The loadout will be only available in warzone. Loadout weapons must be unlocked to use. For example: By leveling up to level 10 you unlock the BR, level 15 will unlock the SMG, and 20 the DMR.
Each weapon can be upgraded with attachments, these attachments must be unlocked by completing commendations for each weapon and bought with RP (that won’t be expensive). Also, for some attachments such as the bayonet you must complete the energy sword commendations:
⦁ First commendation bayonet for AR - ⦁ Second commendation bayonet for BR - ⦁ Third commendation bayonet for SMG - ⦁ Fourth commendation bayonet for DMR - ⦁ Fifth commendation Your average EmblemEach attachment will make the weapon a higher tier, in addition, to use some attachments your weapons must be a high-level tier. For example, in order to use the Bayonet, your weapon must be at least tier 8.
Requisitions
So for this, the REQ variants will be the same as it was in Halo 5, but with a few tweaks.
This REQ pack system will only feature these things:
REQ weapons - REQ vehicles - Power Ups - RP and XP Boost - (Maybe) Weapon SkinsSome few things added post launch.
REQ packs also will change as you can get your common Gold, Silver, and Bronze, but each of these will be divided in to:
Weapons/Power Ups Pack - Vehicles Pack - Mixed PackI hope liked this idea, feel free to comment how could you improve, if you want to add something, or if you would make it different. Please if you think is a good post share it to make this post big and let 343 know about this idea.
I like how your system you actually earn stuff such as the bayonet instead of just getting it through luck. Now hopefully we can get someone important to actually read this.
Definitely is a nice idea, I’ve always thought about the possibility of buying just the armor you want to wear and not the one that you get in a pack. Hope 343 read this
I would love it if armor like HellJumper or Hunter got unlocked from completing something in the campaign as a challenge set of armor, like how Recon was back in Halo 3.

Maybe if you finish the campaign on easy you get Tanaka’s armor, Normal you get Vale’s, Heroic hell jumper, and Legendary Hunter. For blue team, maybe by leveling up for example to get chief’s armor you must be level 117
I really liked your idea, the reason I haven’t play halo 5 is because I don’t want to grind to buy a pack that I’m not guaranteed to get the thing that I want.
Back to topic, I agree with customization, but I think that stupid rarity should not be in the game. That makes other armors kind of feel cheap and armors like ultra rare or legendary sounds better, even though they look worse.
Load out should be given to anyone as standard, not unlocking.
As you suggested, 343 needs to separate those REQs into weapon, vehicle, and boost.

I don’t think they should get rid of the REQ System but it should only apply to REQ weapons variants and not to customization
I think they should change the rarity of some armor because i also agree some armor are just ugly.
Maybe loadout unlocked but you still have to unlock their attachments.
Skins should function as follows: For each piece (head, shoulders etc) you have preset skins (that are the same for ALL ARMOURS- this prevents a bloated system like we have in halo 5, wasting time unlocking the same variants of the one armour) that you can apply to the pieces. E.g, I start the game out with recruit armour, and say the starting skin you have unlocked for every piece is “basic stripe”. This stripe can be put on every armour piece you will unlock, so therefore, you only have to unlock a skin once, and unlock each armour once.

I was saying there should be no rarity like mythic and legendary. Including common, uncommon, rare, and ultra rare. This is just stupid, every armor should be treated same.
I hope 343 doesn’t make any variant of load out in future. All we need is “attachments” on the weapon.

Yes, i like your idea I think its very interesting, but also if you played Reach you know that you can put attachments on you armor and that’s how I think the armor variants should work. And I think that idea of unlocking things that are available for every armor

I got it, I just used that term because is the one that’s used in Halo 5, maybe they should only use the rarity system on Req variants.
