The Unrealistic Things:

  • Sprint - Thruster - Mantis Charge - 2 Grenades to kill in Hijack ModeThe Realistic Things:

  • Extra Health - Cannot be boarded from front - Stomp has little more range and damage. - Machine Gun Locks Onto Infantry(Spartans,Marines,Covenant,Prometheans) - Rockets Lock Onto All Vehicles

I agree with rockets locking onto all vehicles and unable to be boarded from the front. Everything else is just OP.

Return the Mantis to its’ Halo 4 stats, simple as that.

Even the 10 - 15% health boost? Not that much considering a normal mantis is practically as fragile as an overshield active spartan.

The bulk isn’t even the worst part (although being this weak despite having shields… literally how.)

The firepower just isn’t good. The chaingun was nerfed, badly.

Tbh the health boost would be useless anyway, most of my deaths in a mantis are because it takes the machine gun to the point of overheating to kill 1 Spartan, the rockets to kill another and then I try and get another with a stamp only for the enemy to just take 0 damage from the stomp, I personally do think the mantis just shouldn’t be able to be boarded from the front, and if it’s boarded with full shield then an option to trigger an emp pulse should appear, wipes the shields but throws all enemies away including hijackers

The only Mantis that I like is the ONI Mantis as it locks on to enemy’s and vehicles. The “stomp” doesn’t work like it did in Halo 4, so you can board and destroy these vehicles WAY TOO EASILY. Mantis is junk, I don’t use them anymore.

The only thing it really needs is the removal of forward facing boarding.

ONI mantis with something similiar to the ONI warthog gun and lock on rockets. more health, double shields, sprinting jumping, mantis ground pound, and mantis slam. wow i am getting scared just typing this.

I thought thats what it was supposed to be a suit for a suited warrior?

no, the mantis needs to be redesigned, having two tanks is pointless. First they need to replace stomp with a thruster then replace the rockets with something that can repair vehicles or something like this
