How to make Halo 5 more enjoyable

Its been several months since this game came out and it’s severely lacking in variety because 343 wants to streamline the multiplayer experience.

In my opinion, this is a huge mistake. In the past Halo games we have had tons of playlists and modes to play around with that we still don’t have in Halo 5. It’s okay to add new things to the franchise but you shouldn’t take things away from people.

Here’s what I think 343 should do to help with this:

  • Give Strongholds and CTF their own playlists. This is a given.

  • Remove Slayer and Breakout from Team Arena and rename the playlist to Team Objective.

  • Assault needs its own playlist.

  • Grifball, Doubles, Infection, and Super Fiesta should be PERMANENT social playlists.

  • Keep FFA and SWAT

  • Make the Default versions of the Carbine, Suppresor, Storm Rifle, and Boltshot available as permanent REQ loadout cards in Warzone.

  • Allow us to freely use every single weapon/vehicle variant for Forge and Custom Games.

  • Add in a Classic playlist that disables all Spartan Abilities, can only be played on specially built Forge maps, and replace most weapons in this playlist with classic variants such as the Halo 2 BR, SPNKR Rocket Launcher and CE Magnum.

If you did all these things, I guarantee that you would see more people playing the game and a happier community for your game overall.

I played Team Arena a lot of times. I haven’t received a single round of breakout.

Yeah, solutions that are based around “double the playlist count!” pretty much miss the point entirely.

Seems like every 10 minutes someone is posting a list of reasons they think Halo 5 is messed up and “what 343 should be doing to fix it”. The funny thing is, none of these lists are ever the same. Everyone has their own unique opinion on “how to fix the game”.

You have a vision of what this game should look like,but so does everyone else, including the developers. Chill out and take a minute to appreciate what you DO like.

  2. breakout is not in arena, and arena is meant to mimic pro league modes so

  4. Grifball and infection are perm. Dont really see why doubles needs to be if it was so unplayed when it was out. Agree a form of fiesta needs to be perm.

  6. No, storm rifle is way to OP and the carbine wrecks most weapons. Boltshot and supressor maybe but it really adds nothing

  8. I can see this being added though the halo ce pistol should not be in it. It trumps all other weapons on the map including the rocket and halo 2 br

I’m not saying this would make the game perfect with zero complaints but I truly believe it would be a good thing for everyone.

I think there needs to be one-flag and one-bomb for BTB also, with more BTB maps…
