I somewhat predict FFA Throwback will return next week, that it was just a filler for the delay in Snipers, regardless, i’ve been dying for a default FFA since launch. I’m a long time FFA guy, H2-R Rumble Pit was so perfect for when no buddies were on. So, here’s my problems with what we saw early this morning.
SLAYER: It wasn’t there. FFA is not FFA without Slayer. OBJ is fine but it cannot be the entire playlist. Remember that time you and your friend played an FFA Odball custom? Me neither.
BALL: It honestly seemed fine, leave it how it was.
KOTH: My biggest problem. I like FFA KOTH more than most, but this was brutal. Holding the hill uncontested for 150 seconds in FFA on Abandoned with instant respawns I believe to be impossible in the time limit. Either make it 50 seconds uncontested to win, or perhaps 100 seconds where we can milk time with other fights going on in the hill.
That’s all I got for the core stuff. You could add other things such as a Race gametype, or maybe FFA Snipers from H2. Even Regicide, as I don’t think it should have its own playlist for obvious reasons.
One more small thing, placing in the top half needs to be a ‘win.’ It really discourages people to think doing well placing 2nd is a loss.
