I was very disappointed when I found out that the BR in Halo 4 was a 5 shot kill. So me and my friends went into customs to find out if there was a way to make the BR a four shot. I wnt into traits and made the damage resistance to 90%. The BR was a four shot but the DMR was still a five shot kill. We played Big Team customs and found that the BR was very good at close to mid range but the DMR was still very good at long range and the BR didn’t stand a chance unless the BR wielding player missed. We found that this setting with 90% damage resistance was not only extremely fun, but it was also a lot more balanced because the BR and DMR were both good for different situations, with 100% damage resistance the DMR is good for every situation and the BR is only good at close to mid range if the DMR player misses. Please 343 consider making the BR a four shot, my friends found that the game is more balanced, and more fun with a 4 shot BR. Please, so many people would be happy if you did this. It is just so much more balanced.
Is the DMR a 4 shot on 100% resistance?

Does this 90% resistance alter any other weapon’s performance? (Lightrifle, Carbine, magnum)
Im kinda happy with the BR being better for SHort to Mid range. I use it for 4v4 slayer and i tend to beat DMR uses because they dont have the distance to help them. Id rahter see the DMR damage get changed

You mind as well remove all the shields and make it one shot lol.
I don’t see much a point making the BR a 4SK in customs. It becomes very inconsistent due to the added recoil, and it alters the Light Rifle hipfire bonus since the two have identical damage output. The 4SK BR settings do not do anything but make the Light Rifle better than the DMR in every situation.
It is really just best to forget this weapon exists, it is too weak for its own good.

Carbine-Did not test but it will probably be either unchanged or it will take one less shot to kill.
