- Is it for fun or is there money involved? - Are any of your Company aware of your idea to make a tournament? - Have you thought about or researched the rules regarding the tournament? - How many teams do you think will play? - Have you got social media accounts that you’ll be using to promote the event? - What game types and maps will you be using, will you be playing best of 5 or 7? - Have you got a date set in mind, is it realistic?Those are about the rough things you’ll need to consider / look into when setting it up, if you have a quick run through and answer those I can definitely help you out with a template of how to set it up and a rough gauge at how it will run!

We had one tournament last month but I feel it has a lot of improvements areas, that one was just for fun, so here are my answer to your points
*I reviewed with the company and the said it would be more interesting if there is an entrance fee
*yes. They are aware
*no I have not, but I will research them
*I think it will be at least 6 teams of 4
*since this is within the company we have t Give thought to use social media
*last time we use a mode of clasifications, semifinals and finales, in the First two we only play three games (Slayer, ctf and strongholds) in the final where only to teams fight against each other we play best of 7
*date is for mid of june, so I think it is realistic

Alright awesome lots of info in the reply! So basically the entrance fee idea is cool, only needs to be $5 per player etc and the top two teams can get the winnings etc. I think that’s an excellent idea!
As far as everything else goes it seems like you have everything pretty much sorted, I’d say for this time however just looking up the official rules etc and doing the best of 5 for general games and loser bracket games and then a best of 7 for semi finals and finals games. Other than that it sounds like you’re onto it! Like you said social media may not be required as it’s just a company thing, if that goes well though in the future you may want to branch out and involve the wider community in some larger tournaments with a larger prize pool.
