How to Link My account with Bungie for challenge?

Need to know how to link account with bungie.net for today’s challenge

I’m afraid that isn’t available any more OP. This was something that was specific to Bungie’s website back when they were active developing and supporting Halo Reach. Since they moved on from the franchise and updated their website for Destiny, things like this relating to Halo are no longer available

Rather than start a new thread for this I’ll pose my question here. If we already linked our account before they stopped supporting it are we able to get the challenge? Like I still proudly sport my Durandal nameplate on my profile so does that mean it’ll unlock for me?

Just asking because I could really use that 20k challenge and I kinda got yoinked from getting it yesterday because the servers were down.

I guess it’s possible that this could still work, if gamertags were stored somewhere that was still accessible and could be validated against. My guess though is that it’s not supported any longer.

Tell you what, I’ll go run through a game of infection and then edit this reply to let people know if they can. Back in a few.

Update: it works. If your account was already linked to Bungie.net before they stopped supporting Reach, you’ll get the challenge as soon as you start searching for a match.

It would be great if that challenge was removed, especially because of Weekly Challenges like: “Complete 28 Daily Challenges this week” // “Complete all the daily challenges for a given day this week”
