How to limit custom game to just red v blue?

I am trying to set up custom games, but I can’t find the option to cancel out all the other teams (yellow, green etc) and just keep it to red vs blue. This always creates chaos in customs because people switch to a random team.

How do I limit the teams and then also limit he amount of people on one team?

Don’t think you can cancel out team colors or set a player limit for said teams. You pretty much go by honor code at that point.

im not a forger or someone who sets up custom games (funny cause I have 4-5 days total of playtime in customs) so I could be wrong. Generally the lobby leader just says go to insert color and that’s that.

I’m sure there must be a way to just set red and blue teams, it seems like a crucial part of nearly every game mode.

Well, if you only set up spawns for Reds and Blues, then if someone does switch to another color, they won’t spawn in.

Are you telling me that there is no way where you can limit the game to two teams?

If you’re asking whether you can control what teams your lobby has the option of choosing, then I believe there is no way to change that.
It’s been awhile since I’ve played around with custom game settings, so I can’t remember all the different things you can do. You might just need to experiment and play around yourself.

I know you can disable team changing in-game, but I’m not sure about in the lobbies themselves.

in the settings when you are setting up a custom game there is an option to TURN OFF team changing :slight_smile:
