Sure, headshot every Grunt, Crawler, and Jackal, but the rest are crazy. What should I do?
I need a fast enough way to kill Watchers, and Hunters sound like they’ll be damage sponges beyond anything I’ve ever seen.
Also, don’t get me started on Knights and Elites. 3 Plasma Pistol overcharges (Not that the Famine skull allows it, but I tried this with only Mythic, Tilt, and Thunderstorm) and a Storm Rifle to the point of an overheat just barely drop an Elite’s shields.
I know assassinations and beat downs are still an instant kill, and that their grenade animations can help with that, but is there a more effective way?
The Watchers, Elites, Knights, Hunters, and vehicles seem like they’ll be a problem. What should I do?
Solution: Dont do LASO. Its not worth it.

Hm, does that mean he skipped it? I remember having luck with my LASO run. I was being helped by a fried who was terrible with the Broadsword and always ruined it. So I said “let’s skip it for now and practice the rest”. We did and he told me he got the commendation for Legendary difficulty. I was like… “OK”. I tried the code and it worked for me…

Well, he got outside the map for that part, but he still did the whole level.
Also, beatdowns or the LR/Carbine are the only way to kill Elites and beatdowns are the only way to kill Knights. Don’t do Mythic unless you’re 100% committed to failure. Otherwise LASO will do. Speaking of which, I should have a The Covenant Hornet section LASO tutorial with 3 methods coming on YouTube soon if anyone cares.
During my playthrough I ran out of ammo trying to shoot down the Knights and Elites. 'Nades and Assassinations/beat downs may not be the easiest but they are really faster when you perfect technique. YouTube has got some good guides too.
