How to kill Knights and Hunters easy

Hey guys i need help with killing knights and hunters bc all i know is to use storm rifles

Storm rifles? I don’t know if I’ve tried that. If we’re talking weapons only, I use plasma caster a lot on them, that works pretty good.

  • Hunters have weak spots where their flesh is exposed. These are seen where their pinkish-red flesh (made of worms) is exposed. These are at their joints, with the largest spot being on their back. Their back armor can be torn off to make the weak spot bigger. Firing on their exposed flesh deals far more damage than hitting their armor. - Knights have two glowing orbs on either side of their back/shoulders. Shooting these enough will rip off their back armor, revealing a glowing core to shoot for massive damage. Their helmet can also be ripped off with excessive firepower so they can be dropped with a headshot. - Stay back for the most part. Knight and Hunter melees are brutal, and can insta-kill most Spartans with a direct hit. - However, A Spartan Charge or a direct Ground Pound CAN stun a Hunter or a Knight for a few seconds, keeping them from firing for a moment. This WILL NOT work on Hunters that are rampaging (after killing their mate) and can only be done once every roughly 10-12 seconds. Until ~10 seconds a second charge will not stun them and leave you open to a destructive counter melee. Repeated, careless melee combat is almost suicide. - Hunters and Knights are almost impossible to splatter (in my experience) as their sheer mass will stop Banshees and Warthogs alike with only minor damage to the enemy. - Try to engage at a mid-range, as their shots are fairly slow and a mobile Spartan can be hard for them to hit. - Keep a STURDY piece of cover close, as both Hunters and Knight wield heavy weaponry. Sometimes a rock will stop an Incineration Cannon that your thruster pack wouldn’t have evaded fast enough. - Explosives work well enough, though aiming for the weak spot is again more effective than simply blowing your way through their armor.

Tank beats everything.

Plasma casters work great on them.

Send Nos Leygall after them

Real answer: needlers work wonders against knights.

That works too. All else fails and the hunter(s) have wrecked your team, a Tank will just blow the hell out of them with ~3-4 shots dead on.

Plasma caster, hydra, razors edge and scorpions work pretty good

Well there’s your problem, right there

If you can’t call in the higher level weapons/vehicles then there’s plenty of level 3 reqs that can do the job.

My two fav level 3s for killing them quickly are plasma caster and razors edge.

Incineration cannon and plasma casters work well

I often use my AR and aim for the weak points

I found out with a knight that all you need is something like a gauss cannon or railgun. Just shoot there face and nowhere else. This will cause the armor on their face to fall off which then makes it so you only need one headshot to finish them, even if they are at almost full health.

I say depends on req level. If you are below level three such as the beginning of raid on apex 7, you have no choice but strength in numbers. 5-6 players can take down a hunter in virtually no time at all but you need some on one side to distract and some behind to deal the real damage. ARs and grenades work fine if you team up. Trying to solo a hunter is much harder of course and you’ll need those power weapons or tanks.

For knights, aim for the weakpoints on the shoulders nd have a headshot weapon handy. On non boss knights when you break a shoulder piece there’s a brief moment where the open the face plate and expose themselves to a heashots. If you fail that both times get to their backs and melee. For the osses and the blue knights this doesnt fully apply, so break both shoulders and get to their back as you can’t headshot them.

Tip, use kinetic bolt weaponry or promethean weapons as the break the shoulders faster.

For hunters, use explosives as much as you can, or at least until you break the back plate off. any and all flesh you can see on a hunter in a weak point.

Note, careful using explosives from their front as their shield plate can deflect rockets grenades ect

Tip, ground pound and spartan charge can stun both enemies.

When using a storm rifle, follow instructions on where to aim

“Tank beats everything!”

My personal favorites for Warzone FF (teammates help a lot)

Hunters. COG AR. Any AR tears through through their back, but I like COG the most. The AR’s abudance of ammo works well, especially with the strategy I usually use of shooting at it a little when it’s facing you (with cover to get behind when it shoots back) so your teammate can get some work in on its back. When it turns to face them, take your turn. SMGs and Saws are good too due to their mass bullets. (These are also the guns I prefer for Phaeton ships. Only difference is you’re shooting up into the glowing center)

Knights. BR/DMR. Stabilization jets if possible. Shoot the orbs on the wings off, then either shoot them in the exposed back or get intimate with an assassination. Light rifles and pistols work well too if necessary. I recommend hanging back a bit with some cover nearby.

But yeah, Tanks make minced meat out of them as do Wraiths (well with wraiths cover is helpful, especially if it’s a wall or rock cluster high enough that you can shoot over, but they end up shooting into.

The weak points of Knights are the cores on their shoulder armor, when you shoot these their armor will eventually break, then you can headshot them easily because their helmet breaks.

The weak point of Hunters is their back underneath their armor. Since they hunch down it exposes their back a lot if you are behind them, so you can get lots of hits in.

Emberciz, that was already mentioned. That aside, wraiths can do some damage to hunters if angled at their backs. As for knights, I’ve only seen a phaeton splatter one.

Here’s a tip for you: Needler/Razor’s Edge/Blood of Suban for the knights. Maybe also hunters, but the catch in both cases is that you should aim for the weak points – and while that’s easy enough with knights, it’s not nearly as reliable against hunters. Explosive damage seems to do much better against knights and hunters than ballistic damage, so filling them full of blamite until they convulse into an explosive fit of purple works pretty well. While I personally always use the hailstorm needler over the talon of the lost, I expect that the talon of the lost would be better here, dealing more damage and otherwise taking effect when ordinary subanite shards bounce off the non-weak sections.
