Is there any way to disable the symbol on weapon pads so not everyone knows where and what it is?
Nope, sorry. But you can just put the weapon down without the pad, that should solve your problem
That seems like something that can be done in custom game settings. Probably under the same tab as the one with all the options for what spawns on the map.
