As an aspiring novelist, I’ve written my fair share of fanfiction and original works. But one thing I’ve been coming back to over and over is making progress on a novel for Halo I’ve entitled: Halo: Yellow Team. It’s currently canon-compliant, a story out of the way, and almost completed with nearly thirty chapters of UNSC, Sangheili, Forerunner, & Banished goodness.
The only issue is: if I release it anywhere without permission and solicitation with 343, it’s just another fan fiction work. Not the ideal outcome for my big plan, no?
So, Starting today I’ll be trying to get the attention of someone who can help get those two bits sorted with the masters of Halo. This is the first step. If all else fails, I’ll have to post Chapter 1 and my pricing and hope I get flagged for the google docs link and get noticed that way. Not a very original plan, but I hope it’ll work.
