How to get the Halo 3 terminal achievement

So I recently found at looked at all the terminals in halo 3 but didnt get the acheiv. do I have to read all the way through or can I just glance at it.

You have to watch the terminals all the way through. But when you think you are at the end of the text, wait another few moments. The screen will flash red and will go on to show secret messages from Mendicant Bias or conversations between the Didact and the Librarian (depending on the difficulty you play on). Once you have looked at the second text in each of the 7 terminals, you will unlock the achievement.
