So I have been playing Halo 5 recently and some of my friends have the old Master Chief armor or NightFall armor. One of them told me he got some sort of Shinobi armor as well. How do we get these sorts of armors?
I have Master Chief and Master Chief Scarred but I don’t know why/how. They appear to be Legendary REQ’s.
They’re gotten by earning achievements in the Master Chief Collection (you can still get these):
- Mark VI (New Gen) – Earn the “Your Journey Begins” Achievement - Mark VI (Scarred) – Earn the “Cairo Stations” Achievement - Helioskrill – Earn the “Legend” Achievement - Nightfall – Watch “Nightfall” Episode 1 (on Halo Channel) to unlock helmet. Watch all 5 episodes to unlock armor.The other armor set was given out to those who played between launch and a certain date which I can’t remember. I think it was the first two weeks. You can also get them in REQ packs (I believe, don’t quote me on that).
there really aren’t enough armors that you get based off other stuff. There should be an armor for each Campaign instead there are over 100 armors/helmets but only 3 relate to old games, and the Mark VI (new/scarred) can literally be done on the same mission. Plus now you can’t watch Nightfall for free anymore.
Also screw the way Halo 2 respawns on legendary campaign work, makes the Helioskrill not even worth getting.
Reach is now backwards compatible so why can’t I get Noble 6 armor or something if I go back/beat it on legendary now.
