So I discovered that you can get a maximum of 100 cards per item (e.g. 100 needlers), so this would, in theory, make you get REQ’s you want, if you get all cards to 100.
I’d recommend buying only bronze packs to stack up on all items and not to sell or use any cards. In the end you’d get no more items of the cards which are full, what means that you’d get more weapon skins, armour, etc.
Note: I’ve not actually tested this in the game, though I am pretty sure you cannot get more than 100 cards of one item.
And sounds like a lot of time to get the cards to 100. It’s interesting though, but not something I’ll likely try myself.
At one point I had 130 speed boosts so I don’t think that will work.

It would be hard to play warzone without using req’s. I could give your idea a shot on a couple of items so see if it works that way.

By the time you have 100 of every REQ odds are you’ll already have all the permanent unlocks. :\
This won’t give you more permanents. Silver and Gold packs will only give you two permanent Reqs. All of the other cards are not taking up any places that could possibly give you any permanents.

Same, think I’ve got about 124 speedboosts and 116 SAWs. Game definitely keeps giving me them too.

In theory, all it would do is make it so you don’t get any more SAWs or Needlers or whatever you have 100 of, and you would get other consumable cards instead. It wouldn’t affect what permanents you get.
Hmm. I guess you can get more than 100 cards of a certain item, but it seems to have stopped to give me more than 100 cards per item. Also, I guess you’re right about the 2 permanent cards per package. This means that there is no use in saving up cards then, right?

I still think the silver pack -> gold pack method is faster than this. Reason I say that, even if it was true that 100 was the max (idk if it is or not) it would take forever to get 100 of each mongeese/warthog (there’s like 5-6 variants of them each!). Not a bad theory but I will stick with the silver packs for now.
