I am doing my best to promote the return of Halo by spreading the word on my Youtube Channel. Even though it is small, I am sharing with whoever I can. If we get the classic game types to return Halo 4 has a chance to be one of the best Halo games to date.

The population went up by 5,000 yesterday so thats progress.
Spread the word people! I think the update was awesome and I’m hoping to see an overall population increase this weekend. Maybe we can get halo 4 above 50,000? I know that’s a lot to ask for but I really think this update can do it. Just gotta wait patiently for the weekend to see some real numbers.
The population of this game did not go down because of anything in game. It went down because of COD, other games, etc. It will always be very high when released because people love halo but there are many games to choose from now. There is only a very small population of people that care about issues like ‘grenades are a touch to powerful’, ‘weapon spawns are too random’ etc. The majority of gamers do not even pay attention to that stuff, probably know nothing of title updates/etc, and probably do not know there is even an online halo community. No Halo will ever be H2/H3. When H3 came out it had no competition.
The only way to get the Halo 4 population back is this:
- Jump in a time machine.
- Go back in time a few years.
- Convince 343 to make a real Halo game.
- Return to present day.
- Population restored.

True. I can’t blame em’ to be honest.
Too bad Halo isn’t popular as It used to be, but what can you do? Call of Duty practically took the spotlight. And they still continue to release more trash COD titles.

What do you mean Halo is back? I applaud the weapon update, but it also just got more chaotic.

I agree that there are just so many games to choose from. H2 and H3 were a leap ahead in online gaming that all users had to play hence the huge numbers and high population. I would like to see a good increase in numbers overall, but I am realistic in saying that it may only be an increase of 15-20K players.
