I decided to make this thread for those who are trying to find a game and are having trouble. Though this method is very annoying and in no way excuses the amount of bugs and frustration I’ve had it will find you games a lot faster. I’ve reached level 11 in one night in ranked from finding games more frequently.
Nothing special just every time you get on or finish a match go to the home screen and completely close the game then start it back up. It gets old quick but me and a few buddies have played a lot of games despite the amount of issues. You will have to reinvite your friends but it works and is faster than waiting forever like most people are. Let me know if anyone has success doing this.

Great tip - that’s exactly what i’ve been doing & it seems to work 90% of the time.
Also make sure you can see the players list on the right sight of the screen while searching or I don’t think you will find a game. If that happens just restart again. Takes about 30 seconds to restart the game rather than waiting 20 minutes for a game.

Good tips and thanks for the feedback. However the majority of the issues are not connection related. I have a 30 download 10 upload Internet connection and open nat so I’m sure it’s not the problem. Most of them are ui glitches or bugs that need to be addressed or server related issues. Any way thanks again.
When ever you are in a group game the host must either quit halo and restart or log in and out of XBL this is because the halo servers still think that the party is together, you can confirm this by looking on the party app and see it show that your friends are in your game when they aren’t. Its a pain in the -Yoink- but it works, also make sure underneath the group when you are searching for a game it says searching (see Frankie’s stickied post for details). At the moment you are more likely to find a game on your own than in a party also try and stick to either H2A: Ranked or Team Slayer as these seem to be the most populated playlists with the best chance of getting a game. Also check your NAT type, having a strict NAT will limit your chances of finding a match if the host has a moderate NAT type you simply will not be able to join. A good idea is to set up your Xbox One with a Static IP address and Open the Ports for XBL to give you an Open Nat type allowing you to connect with all players. Also I have found that only resetting your search if it goes on for over 10-15 mins is probably best.
