how to get frist strike in grifball?

Step 1 Sprint
Step 2 Stop just before the ball
Step 3 Attack
Step 4 Profit

If you can slide boost its super easy. When you launch switch weapons so when you land you all ready have the hammer out. Sprint, boost, slide, jump, and smash. Doing this will get it pretty often.

This is what we did when we needed first strikes for the armor

I start running switch to hammer when the enemy´s are at the ball jump and then hammer

To get the first strike you usually need to be the first player in the game to first strike your enemy.
