How can i get better at halo 2 anniversary? any tips and tricks. thanks.
I used to be good at h2 never played h2a before the mcc the only game out of the series actually and I find myself to be trash now a day but what I found to help is h2a is based on team play run with a party of at least 3 and communicate map and weapon control wins games slayer or obj buddy system when u spawn go towards ur teamates dnt try and run the flank team brs u may get a kill and save a teamate from given ur opponent a kill aim for the face and dont rush situations if ur not to good with the sniper dont pick it up let someone else who may be better use it leading to more kills and possible map control
You can’t get better with bullet refunding and constant connection issues. In all seriousness, stick to other playsists, and play a lot. I mean a lot a lot. Practice makes perfect.
The problem is that, there is no real place to practice, since whats left of the population in MCC is the diehards, and since there is no independent social playlist, you’re screwed.
You could try using stealth. If you crouch and move, you won’t appear on enemy radars, unless you’re going up some stairs in which case you need to go slower.
Using this, you could ambush campers.
In H2A, it is very easy to use a Sniper Rifle. Try to use those and the Battle Rifles. Battle Rifles are still your friend in H2A, just like most other Halo games. Do not use the SMGs or any dual wieldable weapon on its own, unless it is being dual wielded with another weapon. Also, do not use the Assault Rifle unless there really is no other weapon, because, with the Assault Rifle, you are trading accuracy for ROF, and the SMGs are better in this regard, since they are bullet hoses and can be dual wielded. Also, strafe a lot.

Im no where near as good as a lot of other players but I recommend learning every map from the inside out, im talking about weapon spawns, jumps, initial rushes, spawns,…etc
Youtube is your friend, just search for H2A tips/tricks

That’s how you practice. Playing better players.
best advice for h2a is to be aggressive. if you sit back and try to pick off kills you will lose. you have to control the map. if your super new to halo then yeah the best advice is to just play until you are confident. know the maps and get used to different situations then be aggressive. works best for me and when other people do the same we dominate
Use a headset and don’t be afraid to die. I’m an avid believer of “if you didn’t make a mistake, you didn’t learn anything”. So go make the mistakes.
