Hey community,
sadly I have to ask this question to y´all after being with Halo since it first hit Xbox and never missing any installment of the game or books/comics I am retireing from the series for the reason of Halo 5 not having a stable base of connection to play on.
I am getting kicked out of every other game and got several bans and hate messages from people who think i quit and that hurts my overall Xbox life reputation,my rank and my feelings.
I don´t see 343 making any effors to change yet to discuss the problem and I just want my money back and hopefully get a little cash back on the two Xboxes i own and leave it whilst I still can keep some good memories of it. MCC prepared the fall and Halo 5 was the ground I hit hard.
The game itself is nice and I would recommend it to friends if I wouldn´t have had those problems.
So any idea how to do it?
Microsoft support isn´t the answer sadly.

Go Microsoft Chat Support and try a couple of times with them, eventually one of them will give you a refund straight away no questions asked. Just say something like the isn’t working or loading, then they’ll ask if you want a replacement, instead reply asking for a refund. I got a refund on Destiny

Did you expericence heavy disconnecting issues?
Only on on my account for whatever reason my wife can play for days without problems and i even get kicked out of the campaign. Never finished it

Not really, my experience with H5 has been fine tbh, which is quite surprising after how terrible the MCC connections were. But if you’re having connection issues with H5 and it’s the game fault, you should probably get a refund.
before returning it try doing a hard reset on the xbox (while its on hold down the power button for 10 seconds) and then wipe all your user data for halo 5 and start again, see if that helps

I just tried the chat support and this service is not available at this time.

It says please call us directly (which i already did and i got the refund denied).
Maybe its because the german devision of Microsoft has another return policy.
I gess i will keep it so at least my wife can enjoy it.
Maybe it broke my profile like i had with Halo 3 (thats why I´m missing so many Achievements).
Really appreciate your feedback though.

It happened to friends accounts too when they played at my place so it shouldn´t be just the account at least. I think it has to do with the servers being in the USA and us being in Europe and also two Xboxes being connected on one Router which is weird because you can connect multiple PCs without any issue.
I saw pleny people having the same issues on the forums but no solution that would have helped in my case unfortunately.
I really wanna play but I´m not gonna sit here and rage over being kicked constantly in my free time whilst they have my money for two consoles (first bought for the MCC splitscreen) (second bought for Halo 5) and a game i can´t enjoy. Not because of its content but its server issues.

They actually said they are relaxing a patch in a couple days to address the restrictions on the connections. You clearly didn’t search very hard for an answer.
