we should band together as a community and play mostly the weekend playlists on the weekends so that they will keep all of them in the rotation Like they should be already (and are forced to listen to feedback from the community). If halo 5 will have so many players then there should be no problem with playlist death to begin with =|

Doubles should’ve been a launch playlist, and it should be permanent.
Some people, like myself, like getting together with one buddy and playing some Halo together.
The strategizing in 2v2 cannot be matched in any other playlist.
Why does 343 have it out for Doubles?

Looks like that’s exactly what they are doing for Halo 5 :
“The weekend social playlist will features modes selected by the community, and offer bonus XP and REQ Points. Additionally, the most popular modes have the potential for becoming their own playlist.”

I don’t know how to quote a post outside of this thread but someone (There are only 4 gametypes at launch thread) said that it is confirmed that griffball isn’t even in custom games as an option, nor in matchmaking as a playlist. I know they said they might bring it to matchmaking but if there is little demand for it it likely wont be back.
I think not being in custom games COULD have something to do with forge being delayed (you really need to make a custom court for it) but not even being able to see it as an option is disconcerting.

…you do realize Big Team comes two weeks after launch, and will be it’s own playlist, right?

No, I did not see that confirmed. Thank you for clearing that up. Yeah, that would give me time to soak up warzone
343i are gauging actual interest in gamemodes and not just throwing in a gamemode that’ll never be played. If its consistently popular it will be put in (sinpers, griffball and infection are almost guarantied to get their on playlist) if it isn’t then it will remain in the rotational. Doesn’t matter how loud you shout 343 will listen to what the community wants not a vocal minority.

well, ok. I’m glad it will probably at least come up in the rotation but why couldn’t those couple of people point out exactly or post a screenshot of one?
I just hope Team Doubles becomes a permanent league/rating/ranked playlist. I don’t want to see Team Doubles fall into a casual category. I remember going to local tournaments for Team Doubles with a friend, would suck to see that competitive online experience hold no value (league rating).
