For my first few months of playing Halo 4, it seemed like the best Halo game ever, but now the novelty has completely worn off and I’ve realized that it is littered with unbelievable -Yoink—mistakes from Reach repeated and just general bad ideas that unfairly tip the balance of battles towards whoever picks the advantages.
To fix Halo 4:
-Remove ALL Armor Abilities. Things like Jetpack (lol you took down my shields? I’ll just fly up here and hide), Invisibility (lol I’ll just sit here in a corner with my Boltshot until someone walks by), Promethean Vision (lol I’ll just press one button and see every enemy across the entire map) etc.
-Remove all Support/Tactical Packages (the only ones I have ever used are Mobility and Dexterity, but they have got to go, they ruin balance and ultimately it doesn’t even feel like Halo).
-Remove Ordnance Drops (this is literally rewarding the player for just playing a match normally with things like Overshields and power weapons, completely stupid).
-You should not be able to spawn with Plasma Pistols/Plasma Grenades, this ruins gametypes with vehicles (lol you have a Ghost/Warthog? No problem, I’ll just kill myself, switch classes, and take you down with a combo that should have required me to obtain the weapons by fighting over them with other players on the map.) Seriously, taking out vehicles is way too easy now.
-Remove the Bolsshot completely. Don’t even nerf it, at this point just GET RID OF IT. It has been abused too much.
If 343 does all of this, Halo 4 would be a much better game, in fact it could be the best Halo multiplayer so far. However I doubt they will because they’ve already proven to be completely incompetent with even doing things such as simply adding/removing new playlists. It’s sad really.

Ok I’ll put it this way. You wouldn’t have even posted on this thread if you agreed with him. But you felt the need to post and call him a whiner because he isn’t fine with the game and you are. Therefore, he must be a whiner because he isn’t ok with the game. People on these threads should stop acting like one opinion is better than another. They’re just opinions.

You cant fix this game to make it good like the past Halo games. Screw this garbage and cant wait for Destiny. 343 will be done after Halo 6 and thats that. Pathetic

What, the kind that likes the game and disagrees with you? People liking the game = it going down the drain? Pretty thoughtful analysis there, captain.

back on topic i agree with what op says. this game sucks the way it is. it will never be a good game the way theyre producing them. no beta, no feed back, just 343 pumping out -Yoink- and hoping for the best.

Great as is? No.
As bad as the community is making it out to be? Hell no.
Other than a few hiccups, this is one of the cleanest running Halos off of launch. And if you were even around Halo 3; let alone CE; you’d know that.

Look me up kid. CE was my launch game too and you must be delusional if you think Halo CE was one of the greatest games ever. Because yea “Whoever gets to the pistols first, wins” is such deep, strategic gameplay.
Again, I’ve been around since CE, I’m aware that each game has had hiccups off the start. However, I’m not referring to the hiccups. I’m referring to Jip, instant respawn, load outs, default sprint, AA’s, ordinance drops, flinch, etc. Things that completely go against what Halo was about. Maybe you should hop of the high horse.

Ordnance? Some people like it. And I’ll laugh when Team Throwdown comes out and its still only pushing a couple hundred players.
JIP? I would be deeply appreciative if you would refrain from speaking… You’re probably one of the reasons we have it in the first place; quitting on teammates every match, making them get slaughtered.
Instant Respawns? Obviously its not in all playlists. And works in “most” of the ones that it is in. If you don’t realize its for a reason, to keep the action fast and frantic, go back to slow–Yoink- Reach. Its still playable.
Default Sprint? Yep, I LOVE chasing after another player at the SAME speed, getting NO WHERE. Once again, both of our opinions, not game breaking though.
AAs? Yep, once again, there are playlists without and some coming out without AAs. They’ll have what you’re looking for. Game breaking? NOPE.
Flinch? …jesus christ. You are seriously gonna tell me getting shot out of scope by someone spraying is much better? Pfft HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Disclaimer: The bottom line is…neither MY opinion or YOUR opinion matters in the grand scheme of things. But if you want old school Halo…you have old school Halo (Halo 3)
But for most of us who want something fresh, Halo 4 is a breathe of fresh air…and…I’m finding a bunch of good games So much for it dying, right? lol
