This is how i think it should be. There needs to be ranked and social for 2 reasons.

Lets say my csr is like 50 in infinity or 30-50 and my buddys skill range is like 10-20 how is that going to be for him hell just get wrecked. And lets say i want to play with my buddys at my house and there not that good and im csr 50 in infinity slayer there just going to end up getting wrecked.

Not every playlist is meant to be ranked such as action sack that was a 0 exp gametype in halo 3 and flood to there really is only 4 playlist that should be ranked. Plus i dont want to half to try all the time.
Social use SR 1-130 ranks

Infinity slayer (remove legendary slayer br put back on own playlist infinity fans hate these settings cause its so different it never gets voted for add slayer pro with radar in 3rd slot.)

Legendary (put legendary br in 1st voting slot and legendary slayer ar starts in 2nd voting slot than put legendary objective gametype in 3rd.

I definitely think that something like this should be implemented (in Halo 5 if not possible / feasible / worthwhile in Halo 4).
I would split it a little differently:
Global Rank would be based on XP and be similar to Reach in this regard. Meaning, a person could, overtime, work their way up to the highest Global Rank by playing Campaign, Spartan Ops / Firefight, and minimal Multiplayer.
Specializations (SR-1 - SR-130) would still be earned by XP. This would function exactly as in Halo 4, but it wouldn’t be a Global “Inheritor” rank. It would really just be an indicator of completing specializations.
CSR would be achieved in Ranked Playlists only and would be similar to how it is distributed now.
Ranked (aka “Tryhard Central”) - In no playlist would there be Infinity settings. All playlists have preset loadout options.

No the settings dont need to be classic ranked infinity social thats just wrong thats like splitting the community up so much! its like saying all classic fans want to play ranked. We need to cater to our core halo fans the people that played halos 1-3 not the new fans thats how were going to get our population back. Keep infinity settings in customs for halo 5.
