Disable the ability to have someone “join game” when the lobby starts filling. I did that with a friend prior to the patch and we were always 5v4, never on the shorthanded team. I’m pretty sure this would stop people getting the “session is full” message in matchmaking, wich doesn’t make sense at all.
Not the source of the issue. Its a side effect of the issue. Use the invite to lobby exploit to your advantage as much as possible, actually. Its currently the best way to ensure playing on the same team with your friends.
I know its a good way to play with firends, just saying that… even if the game works fine and only searches for 8 players, if it lets a 9th one join and starts the battle anyways, it is broken. Maybe the issue is actually a side effect of the “exploit” and not the opposite…
