Their strategy, consists of spawn killing.
And knowing where the enemy’s alternate spawns are.
They have at least 4 people behind each spawn point.(so they can kill before they can shoot back)
When the entire team is in your spawn it’s a little obvious / intentional.
When they all rush your spawn at match start.

the match counts as a DNF even if they won?

I think if a person gets spawn killed 3 times in 2 minutes, you will spawn with an over shield for each time you, Die in the next 2 minutes.
no penalty for spawn killing. Its just part of the game because 343 can’t or don’t know how to make spawnings better. I personally spawn kill in wz assault all the time and I do solo always. I do it not for kills but to win. Esp on a map like Urban. On the defending team and get a battle rifle and go on top of the base and that is easy 20+kills which helps ur team lvl their reqs up faster or array on the defending team on the spire or defending team on summit. 343 makes it ezpz to spawnkill because of their spawning system and the map designs tbh.

I just joined a wza game in progress. Other team was spawn killing. Had our spawns locked down. The game had been going on for a while. Was near the end. Seems pointless.

play in the first three minutes of the game to make sure you get some kind of map control. 90% of the people i get stuck playing with dont do this. then they come here and cry about it

The thread is about assault.
Regular warzone takes effort and time for enemies.
When you dont have a home base to spawn in.
People can manipulate the two spawn locations in assault.
There needs to be a third on the opposite side of map during first phase.
If the enemy team is capping the base that good that they are all in the garage or armory, I think the defenders deserve it. The same goes for defenders, if people are that good at defending that they can hold the capture point down and be going on a good amount of sprees. since the enemy and the friendly both spawn right outside the base, it’s pretty fair.

I don’t know I was thinking it was a glitch cause a lot of teams weren’t that good till they got to the core and we were trapped

So would you rather the defenders spawn at base on warzone assault? Because that would be such a time waster. Warzone assault has no spawn problems, no one spawns in the base like normal warzone every one spawns outside and from there it’s obvious you have to try and take the base back which of course is gonna be hard if the attackers have like 8 players in there. If anything if would only be normal warzone, but in there to Ivan choose your spawn point so it’s not so much a spawn problem unless they are farming.

I don’t want to take away from the hard work that comes with gaining map control. But there’s a point where the losing team can’t spawn in (all spawns covered & locked down). Players quit and new ones spawn into this cluster of a game and keep dying off spawn (like within 1 second). At that point, the game either needs to end or a safe spawn cave or zone needs to happen. Milking the spawn trap for 5+ minutes is bad for this game type and the player base.

Team based matching and reworking the spawn system. That is pretty much it.

tbh if anything its the team thats getting spawntrapped fault in assault. I played a game today and the other team were dominating us but they backed off to the armory at the 30 seconds mark and ofc my teammates would go and capture the spire. Giving the enemy team another 6 minutes of killing and at that point they are spawning in banshees mantis etc. 30seconds left they go to their core base and AGAIN my teammates capture the armory to make the game even longer. So really the team that gets farmed really can’t blame the farmers because THEY WERE THE ONES who captured the first two bases to extend the game. Ofc that game the enemy team had over 300-350 kills total and everyone on my team had 20-40 deaths except for me I had 8 cuz I wasn’t gonna feed them kills.

How about having players dropping in from the sky via ODST drop pods? If you ever played Section 8, having controlled drops into key locations that are out in the open or close to an objective made that game insanely fun. They even balanced it out when they had deployable AA guns in major bases and player spawned equipment to help keep the players getting far in to their territory.
