Remove sword - Remove all grenades from map - Active camo more central location - Railgun only power weapon - Both rail and active camo equal distance from starting locations of both teams.
You talk a lot of sense and seem like you have actually played the game on slsyer and ffa TheArlstocrats. You are very wise no matter what everyone else says and I like how you want fair maps. Agree with all of your suggestions. Sword going is a must. And the spawns need to be the same distance away as it is for someone else to a power weapon in ffa and teams. No more spawning on top of the sword. I do feel that there should be one more power weapon on map though, but cant decide what

I feel like make this map better is too add.
1.Remove Sword, Replace it for Saw.
2.Instead of Active Camo, OS in the Central location.
I believe it would be best without sword or shotgun. Perhaps a plasma caster instead of railgun and an OS instead of cloak. Maybe even add a sniper rifle.
Either way, Overgrowth just does not work with its current item layout. Small rooms and tight hallways are fine as long as you don’t fill the map with weapons that require little skill and promote crouching/camping.

Ha-ha. Saw is insane and its not really in the arena sandbox.
I believe my set up is best. OS in tight spaces seems OP. That’s why invis is preferred. The best way to think of map design is, if it’s small and tight, add weapons and power ups that shine in open spaces, and vice versa.
Honestly, the number one thing 343 could do for these confined maps is let their “pro” team play them early enough to make substantial changes. That, or just don’t add grenades. I mean there’s 16 in play just off spawn. Do we really need to add to that if we’re crawling through these narrow mazes that pass as maps?
And another thing, could you please come up with another back story to these map remakes, other than “a lot of time has passed and now nature has reclaimed the space?” Ooooooh spooooky Regret, Riptide, and Overgrowth are so old now with signs of decay, whatever shall we do?

OS and saw? Are you trying to turn halo into noobville?
Please fix 343. The games in 343 are so biased towards those spawning sword and rail gun. It is not fair for ffa and as a result i have seen people quit as soon as the map comes up. It is a game of sword charge your way across the map and nothing at all to do with skill. Nothing. there is more skill in winning the lottery than this.
Remove sword as the greatest priority if you only do one thing but i think TheArlstocrats has it spot on. Please make this map less of a spawning and sword lottery.
Even vetoed has now come out in condemnation of this map for ffa and slsyer mode in Cruise Control to Champion on youtube for all of the points we have raised here on the map. Like he said the sword needs to no skill to use and removes the skill gap entirely.
