I have time warner cable internet provider, and I’ve noticed several others that have twc complaining about lag spikes throughout games. I was wondering if there is a way to fix this or is 343 working on this already. Because the lag is only happening on halo.
I had the same problem. I fixed it today by buying a new modem. I found that a Motorola Surfboard Modem SB6121 / SB6141 was the problem. A lot of forums complain about those modems and I went to a Netgear CM500 from best buy. So far so good and no lag at all like I had in MCC and Halo 5.

I would do that route but it is only halo that is lagging. No other Xbox/ pc game, Xbox party even works. So idk
I am having the same problem only with halo 5. Might try this new modem as I too have an SB6121 right now. Just want to eliminate my modem as a cause like I have with my router.
If it doesn’t work I’ll just return it and wait for Microsoft or TWC is fix something.
I’m having this issue when ever some one keys up on the mic. They speak I lag. I’m getting a replacement from them today. If that doesn’t work them I’m buying a new one.
Having same problem with twc. So far i have forwarded all ports, and set high priority QoS for xbox. Nothing has helped so far. Gonna try a few more things but i really don’t wanna spend money on a new modem.
I don’t feel like it is the modems problem, i have played every other game i own and my internet works fine so that pretty much rules out it being the modem.
